Quality build with US 5/8" brass thread (F) but require a mic adapter to fit Euro mic stands that have 3/8" thread Feb 06, 2012
By Agogo Well constructed mic holder at $25-29 that is built to last. The 5/8" thread (female) is made of sturdy brass but would require a mic adapter for mounting if your mic stand is the Euro 3/8" (male) fit. Hence more added expense required. Apogee could have included both sizes for the price. Note: Most promotional pictures partially show a mic stand which I might stress is NOT INCLUDED. Just make sure your thread is a male 5/8" if you do not wish to purchase an adapter. (Learn fr my mistake) Otherwise depending on height requirements you can place it on the desktop using the mount as a stand - this would just be an experimental solution which may not be suitable for all recording situations.
The mic mount is tiltable and allows the user to customize the mic's angle or user's reach to suit each application.
Design & ergonomic functionality 5-stars PRice and exclusions 3.5 stars

Apogee One, Great interface/Int mic is good Oct 19, 2011
By Jarrell So the Apogee One, Is the best in it's class. It is super easy to use. No drivers needed. You will be up and running in minutes. The Internal mic is good. Not great but it's quality is pretty darn good. if you want to hear what it sounds like by a real person you should go to youtube dot com and search for malachirock set a fire. I actually prefer to use it's XLR and 1/4 cables for intrusments because I get richer tones from my martin. If you only want to record one instrument at a time and you have all your own gear like mics and guitars and you don't want to give up an arm and leg the Apogee One is definitely worth considering.

Deceitful May 31, 2011
By Richard Kaleta So couple mounts ago I purchased this mic mount, what's wrong you ask ? Well they sent me the table top mic stand, and ironic thing is that you must have a mic mount in order to use the mic stand, I work in a diplomatic post in New Delhi so I have no option of returning, this was one of the most disappointing purchases of the year.
