Really do make a difference Aug 24, 2010 I bought these thinking these might help a little but man was I wrong...I bought new M-Audio BX5a monitors and wanted the best possible sound of of them. Well I put one monitor up on of the pads and one without and closed my eyes and panned left and right to get a feel for the difference. The monitor with the pad actually absorbed quite a bit of resonance and provided a tighter bass response :) The monitor without the pad sounded pretty bad compared to the other one, I could hear that the bass was muddy and a slightly boomy. I have these on a wooden computer desk. I would highly recommended these if you are an audiophile or simply want your speakers or monitors to sound cleaner. Individual results may vary as every setup is different but these definitely made a difference for me and I feel that I got these for a decent price!
Thick sturdy pads for resting center channel speaker on Aug 21, 2010 I bought a couple pair of these to rest my center channel speaker on. My entertainment center has glass shelves, and these helped greatly in getting rid of vibrations. I like how they are sloped and how you can aim your center channel up or down, for better sound.
Pricy, quality iffy Jun 29, 2010 I think these are ridiculously priced but I was drinking one night and bought them anyway ... the sound isolation is great, but I was disappointed when I found that one of the four in my set was a different size than the other 3. Still works, but looks silly.
If you have the money to spend (or are drinking like I was) and prefer functionality over aesthetically pleasing, these may be for you. If you want something that looks good, look elsewhere.

Does the job May 22, 2010 These foam pads do exactly as they are intended. They dampen the noise from the speakers to my desk to lessen vibration. Since buying these, don't think I've had a bit of a problem with vibration. Little high in price, but you get what you pay for. And they are stylish as well.
excellent product Mar 29, 2010 I've used these for about 6 years for my bookshelf speakers, to isolate them from the cabinet they sit in. They do a great job of isolation and also allow you to angle the tweeters towards ear level.
