This is a very useful item. It attaches securely and is easy to adjust. Great to attach to a boom stand for singing and mic'ing a guitar.

This is helping hand and if you want to record with more than 1 mic on 1 stand its the best. if you don't want to use it you can fold it up.

These extensions work reasonably well to hold instrument mics on a mic stand that primarily holds a vocal mic. They are well made, but the attachment can be a little loose unless you really crank the knob, and even then... I would not want to put a heavy mic on this extension. But it works nicely for an sm57 or a small diagphram condenser mic.
It might be more convenient if the 5/8" threads for the mic mount were positioned vertically with an adjustable threaded knob, rather than horizontally with fixed threads. But it works fine as is and the price is right.

Service was quick from ordering, to delivery,Exceptionally quality a plus. This product is very versatile in many useful application. The clamp down and Posi-Lock both appear to be made to last. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product. The telescopic mini boom is a plus.

I have this on a mic stand to mount a field recorder. Sturdier than I'd expect; I have no worries about this falling off. I do have some worries about the whole mic stand falling over, but that's my problem.
