| | Description | The On Stage Quick Release snaps on to your mic stand to instantly connect and disconnect mic holders and boom attachments. Simply screw the 2-piece Quick Release to the top of your mic stand, then attach your microphone holder to the Quick Release. During performance, you can push a button on the quick release to remove the mic and clip from the stand instantly so you can rule the stage! The Quick Release can also be attached between your mic stand and the mic boom for quick tear-down at the end of the gig. It's compatible with all mic stands, booms and mic holders with standard threads. | |

Works as expected May 10, 2011
By Lotus-Seven This is a well made mic stand quick release. It seems strong enough to support a medium weight boom and mic, and has very little play when properly connected. You do have to confirm that the locking button fully pops out to insure that your boom or mic is properly and safely attached to the stand.
Nice invention Jan 20, 2012
By David G. Beneke This is just what the doctor ordered. I bought three and am purchasing 3 more. All of these units threaded nicely into all of my stands and microphone holders. If I switch one mic to another stand, it could not be easier, just a press of a little button. With different shock mounts on different mics, I don't have to worry about re-threading the mounts each time I change mic stands. The time it saves is also invaluable. No problem with quality control on the 3 I now have, and I have no complaint with the build. Great for the studio, where I use mine, would think It would be clumsy for a performer who takes a mic on and off a stand, use a clip for that.
QC a little lacking Oct 20, 2011
By Casey Lutton Amazon did a fine job processing the order and shipping. The product is not quite up to those standards. The screw threads on one of the quick release adapters were poorly cut. I was able to compensate with a file, but there is a danger of crossthreading. I love quick release adapters for changing mics quickly and to avoid tearing up the threads on expensive mics. Chinese manufacturers could learn from the Japanese about quality control.

I have a Shure 55S microphone that has to screw onto a mic stand. Not a great feature if you need to take it on and off for a show. I ordered this and thought that it was going to be like 3 inches or something. I was happy with how small it was. It is no longer than the plug from the mic cable into the mic. The quick release works very well and is very sturdy!
