The Porta-Sound Stand arrived, packed nicely and looks like it would be great IF... it had come with instructions and everything necessary to assemble it. Apparently (according to their web site) it's "easy" to assemble with just a few wing nuts. Trouble is, I had to search for that info because I did not receive ANY instructions and worse, NO wing nuts. This was too much money for me to waste 1/2 a day driving to Home Depot for wing nuts. A I supposed to drag the huge thing with me to know what size? If anyone has been through it, please post a reply with the correct size so the rest of us will know what to buy. Apparently, according to the other reviews here, shipping the equipment without these needed parts is normal procedure. If I ever get to use it, I'll update.

It was helpful to learn from the other reviews that this product arrives in 3 separate boxes. It came in two shipments. Don't be alarmed if you receive only one box - the other two are coming. Although I only received one tracking number from UPS.
This was easy to assemble and well made. I've wanted the Porta Stand for a long time. Now my recording area is organized and customized just for me. Thank you Harlan for creating this product.

This Porta Booth Stand is not only a marvelous, sturdy structure for my Porta Booth but holds my Portfolios, Notebooks,
and much of my audio tools & accessories. I assembled it solo without tools except a screw driver in about 5 minutes.
It looks like a cool piece of furniture in my office and I've had many compliments on how beautiful it is.
I also like the options of lowering or raising the shelves to various levels in an instant and I am thrilled this item.

The stand provides the perfect support for the Porta Booth. Its solid construction and audio invisibility prevents the stand from affecting the audio. Audio waves just pass through it. Even without the porta booth it makes a great stand to hold stuff in a sound recording room.
It comes in three boxes, one being the size of a thin surf board. But all boxes are light enough to be carried by a single person. The boxes might arrive several days apart. So if you receive 2 boxes and several days pass with no 3rd box, don't be alarmed. It will arrive shortly. If you purchase the porta booth the same time as the stand, the porta booth will arrive first and the tracking will say the order has been delivered. But don't worry. The stand will still be coming.

This is a great product and is clearly well built, but it came to me in a box with a lot of pieces and no assembly instructions at all. I've been meaning to contact the vendor to ask for instructions but haven't gotten around to it yet. If it had come with instructions, I would have assembled it and been using it already.
